図書館とLDICでは、以下の期間に蔵書点検を行います。

＜蔵書点検期間＞
8月1日（金）から8月8日（金）まで
学内者の施設利用、館内での新聞や雑誌の閲覧、電子ジャーナルや電子書籍などのデジタルリソースは通常通り利用可能です。
※この期間、一般利用者は入館できません。

「蔵書点検」とは、年に一度、図書・視聴覚資料など、図書館の資料を一点ずつ点検する作業です。この期間に資料が所定の棚にあるか、紛失していないかを確認し、書棚の整理などを行います。

＜蔵書点検期間における注意＞
・資料の閲覧と貸出：期間中、図書館とLDICにある資料の閲覧と貸出はできません。蔵書点検が始まる前に貸出の手続きをしてください。
・ILL（現物貸借・文献複写）サービス：手続きに遅れが発生いたします。緊急のリクエストがある場合は、図書館職員までお問合せください。
・図書館カウンター：終日閉まります。

なお、LDICカウンターは、7月30日（水）から8月24日（日）までの間、夏期休業期間に伴い閉まります。

Nakajima Library and LDIC will conduct a collection inventory during the following period:

Collection Inventory Period:
August 1 (Fri) - August 8 (Fri)
The facility will remain open only to AIU members. Access to newspapers, magazines, and digital resources, including electronic journals and e-books, will be available as usual.
※During this period, access to the library will be restricted to on-campus users only. 

The inventory is an annual process during which every item in the library's collection, including books and audiovisual materials, is individually checked. During this period, we confirm whether the materials are on their designated shelves and not lost and organize the shelves.

Notes:
Browsing and Borrowing: Access to browse and borrow materials from the library and the LDIC will be unavailable. Please complete any borrowing procedures before the inventory begins.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Services: There may be delays in Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and document delivery services. For urgent requests, please contact the library staff.
Counter Services: The counter will be closed all day.

The LDIC counter will be closed for summer break from Wednesday, July 30th to Sunday, August 24th.

平素より当図書館をご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

この度、図書館の一般利用時間を2025年4月1日より以下の通り変更させていただくことになりましたので、ご案内申し上げます。

変更内容
　変更前：平日　午前８時30分～午後10時、土日・祝日・長期休暇期間　午前10時～午後6時
　変更後：通年　午前10時～午後5時
なお、蔵書点検期間（8月1日〜8日）と、年末年始期間（12月29日〜1月3日）は、一般利用者は終日利用できません。

変更理由
今回の一般利用時間短縮は、学生・教職員の皆様の学修・研究環境をより一層充実させることを目的としております。近年、一般利用者の増加に伴い、館内が混雑し、学生・教職員の方々から「静かに勉強できる環境が確保しづらい」というご意見が多数寄せられておりました。皆様にはご不便をおかけいたしますが、ご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

The library's open hours for general public will be changed as follows effective April 1, 2025.

Before the change: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekends and vacations
After the change: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. all year round
Please also note that the library will be closed for the general public during the Collection Inventory period (August 1-8) and during the New Year holidays (December 29-January 3).

Reason for change
The purpose of this shortening of open hours for general public is to further enhance the study and research environment for students, faculty, and staff. In recent years, with the increase in the number of general users, the library has become crowded, and we have received many comments from students, faculty, and staff that it is difficult to ensure a quiet environment for study. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

中嶋記念図書館とLDICでは、7月22日（月）より図書・視聴覚資料の夏季長期貸出を開始します。

＜夏季長期貸出期間＞
開　始　日：7月22日（月）から
返却期限日：9月  9日（月）まで
対　　　象：AIUの学生
　
7月22日（月）以降に貸出・延長された資料が、長期貸出の対象となります。休暇中に読書ができるよう、通常より長い貸出期間とするものです。
図書館ウェブサイトの「利用状況の確認」から、長期貸出期間以前に借りた資料も更新して延長することが可能です。ただし、返却期限内であり、他の利用者の予約がない場合に限り１回できます。視聴覚資料は１週間しか延長できないため、更新をご希望される場合は別途ご連絡ください。

【お願い】
卒業される方は、８月末までに必ず返却をしてください。
相互貸借で秋田県立図書館や他大学から借りている資料は、長期貸出の対象外です。期限までに必ず返却してください。

Nakajima Library and the LDIC will start the Summer Reading Period for books, CDs, and DVDs on Monday, July 22.

<Summer Reading Period>
Start date: Monday, July 22
Due date: Wednesday, September 11
Target: AIU Students

The books borrowed or extended after July 22 will be processed as lending for the Summer Reading Period. It is a more extended period than usual for students to read during the break.
Users can renew the books already borrowed into the Summer Reading Period from "My Library Record" once unless the books are overdue or have been reserved by another user. Please note CDs and DVDs can only be extended for another week by yourself, so please contact us if you wish to renew.

<Notes>
If you are graduating or leaving AIU, please return the materials while still an AIU community member.
Please note that materials borrowed from Akita Prefectural Library and other Universities through InterLibrary Loan (ILL) Service must be returned by the original due date.
