図書館からのお知らせ

平素より当図書館をご利用いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

この度、図書館の一般利用時間を2025年4月1日より以下の通り変更させていただくことになりましたので、ご案内申し上げます。

変更内容
　変更前：平日　午前８時30分～午後10時、土日・祝日・長期休暇期間　午前10時～午後6時
　変更後：通年　午前10時～午後5時
なお、蔵書点検期間（8月1日〜8日）と、年末年始期間（12月29日〜1月3日）は、一般利用者は終日利用できません。

変更理由
今回の一般利用時間短縮は、学生・教職員の皆様の学修・研究環境をより一層充実させることを目的としております。近年、一般利用者の増加に伴い、館内が混雑し、学生・教職員の方々から「静かに勉強できる環境が確保しづらい」というご意見が多数寄せられておりました。皆様にはご不便をおかけいたしますが、ご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

The library's open hours for general public will be changed as follows effective April 1, 2025.

Before the change: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekends and vacations
After the change: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. all year round
Please also note that the library will be closed for the general public during the Collection Inventory period (August 1-8) and during the New Year holidays (December 29-January 3).

Reason for change
The purpose of this shortening of open hours for general public is to further enhance the study and research environment for students, faculty, and staff. In recent years, with the increase in the number of general users, the library has become crowded, and we have received many comments from students, faculty, and staff that it is difficult to ensure a quiet environment for study. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

図書館のカウンターは、以下の期間、休業となります。
休業期間：
2024年12月29日（日）〜2025年1月3日（金）

学生・教職員の皆さんは、IDカードで引き続き24時間利用できます。必ず携帯してください。
期間中のメール等でのお問い合わせにつきましては、2024年1月6日（月）以降、順次対応させていただきます。

一般の方は、上記期間中はご利用いただけません。予めご了承ください。

Nakajima Library service counter will be closed for New Year Holidays during the following period:
Sunday, December 29, 2024, ~ Friday, January 3, 2025

AIU students, faculty, and staff members can continue to use the library 24 hours a day with their ID cards, so please be sure to carry them with you.
Please note that we will not be able to answer any inquiries during this period. It will be processed from and after January 6, 2025, when the library is ready for the new year.

自動貸出機の利用：
自動貸出機の利用はできません。貸出の際は、カウンターへお越しください。

デジタルリソースページからの電子ジャーナル、電子ブックの利用は可能です。

Web services include book search from the library website, My Library functions (book reservations, renewal of loan periods, book purchase requests), and ILL (Interlibrary Loan) services.
Using the Auto Check-out Machine:
Please come to the library counter for borrowing.

E-journals and e-books are available on the Digital Resources page.
